On May 18th, 2025, the Associação de Jovens Empreendedores Agrícolas (AJEA) held its Experiential Workshop on Business Planning for Green Business, bringing together 25 motivated young people to develop solutions for a more sustainable food industry.
The event, part of a wider European initiative, focused on practical, hands-on learning around sustainable entrepreneurship, green business opportunities, and responsible innovation. With expert mentorship and tailored learning materials, participants worked in teams to create 5 innovative and actionable green business plans.
The workshop guided participants through:
- Sustainable entrepreneurship principles
- Identifying green opportunities in the food sector
- Interactive planning and idea development
- Expert mentorship
- Use of practical sustainability tools
This workshop is part of a larger effort to inspire and equip a new generation of green entrepreneurs committed to building a resilient, eco-friendly food system.
